Rathbone For Mayor Campaign Under Investigation After Reports That Donations Were All Spent On Pork Rinds

ODYSSEY, USA – The campaign of former mayoral candidate Bart Rathbone is being investigated after reports of the misuse of campaign funds.

Officer Patrick O’Ryan addressed the allegations in a press conference, saying “This discrepancy came to our attention after a man by the pseudonym of Rathny Rodbone came to us with incriminating reports about Mr. Rathbone and his mayoral campaign. It seems the majority of campaign funds were spent on pork rinds, instead of being spent on normal campaign expenses, like flyers, banners, renting spaces for rallies, and food for volunteers.

This anonymous informant also told us that ‘Pop– I mean, Mr. Rathbone will get what he deserves after I release this information.’

After we received the tip, our officers investigated the accusations and found them to be totally accurate. Officers brought Mr. Rathbone in for questioning and was charged with fraud. He will now be forced to pay a fine of the exact amount spent on pork rinds.”
